Elizabeth Tower and Big Ben in London

Big Ben is one of the most famous sights of London and the UK. Image of the tower is a symbol of the city. Since September 2012 the tower received the name the “Tower of Elizabeth”, in honor of Queen Elizabeth II. In fact, Big Ben is called one of the bells of the Tower. But this is usually the name given to the tower and the clock.

The photo shows Vestmintersky Palace, the largest of the towers “Victoria Tower”, the famous Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben) and the Thames River.
