Metro Station Ribatskoye

Metro Station Ribatskoye in St. Petersburg (станция метро Рыбацкое) is located on the southern outskirts of the city, outside the ring road on the left bank of the Neva River. Currently (2015) it is the southernmost station of the St. Petersburg metro. Distance from city center (Palace Square) to the station is about 16 kilometers. The distance to the bank of the river Neva is approximately 1 kilometer, to the ring road 2.8 kilometers.

Ribatskoye station is located on the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line of Saint Petersburg metro (Line 3, green line). It is the last station on the line. The nearest metro station is Obuhovo. Ribatskoye metro station is located on the ground level (in the ground section of the metro line).

The station opened 28 December 1984. City district, in which the station is located, is known historically as Ribatskoye. This explains the choice of the station name.

The station is located at the intersection of Teplovoznaya street streets Dmitry Ustinov and Pribrežnaya. There is also a railway station “Ribatskoye” near the metro station. Metro and railway platforms are connected by an underground pedestrian transition.
