This hotel is one of the attractions of Dombay. The original name of this object (as the architect called it) - “Futuro's House”. Tourists call this house differently now: the Hotel "Saucer", "Flying saucer", "UFO".

The history of this small hotel began in 1969. In the summer of 1969, the eighth president of Finland Urho Kekkonen visited the Caucasus. The route passed near the Alibek gorge. Picturesque landscapes and types of mountain peaks so strongly impressed Urho Kekkonen. On his initiative, Finland gave Dombay this house.

The author of the project is the Finnish architect Matti Suuronen. He called this house "Futuro house." In different countries there are quite a few works of Matti Suuronen.

“Futuro house” or, as it is called on Dombay, “Flying saucer” was installed at an altitude of 2250 meters above sea level in Dombay, on the slope of Musa -Achatera Mountain. Later, the hotel was moved 250 meters higher. The hotel has three hotel rooms. The ski slopes are located right next to the hotel.
