“Spartak” metro station

The “Spartak” metro station is located in the north-west of Moscow, near the intersection of Volokolamskoye Shosse and Svobody street. Distance from the subway station to the city center (Red Square) is approximately 13 kilometers. The Spartak metro station is located on "Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya" Moscow Metro line (line 7, purple line), between stations Schukinskaya and Tushinskaja.

Moscow metro map Construction of the subway station began in 1975. Project name of the station was Volokolamskaya. Later, the construction of the station has been suspended for many years. The station was opened on 27 August 2014.
FC Spartak "Otkritiye Arena" stadium is located near to the metro station. (Stadium "Otkritiye Arena" named after the sponsor name - the "Otkritiye"bank.) It is expected that in the days of football matches station will work only for exit to avoid a stampede after the match

The station has two lobbies. North vestibule located close to the stadium. The lobby is decorated with symbols of the football club "Spartak" (red diamond fixtures on the ceiling, red stripes on the columns, the logo of the club). It is ground lobby.
South hall is underground. The lobby has access to the underground passage under the street. In the underground lobby is lift for wheelchairs.

  • Football club "Spartak" stadium "Otkritiye Arena".
  • Hotel DOSAAF on Volokolamskoye Shosse (Volokolamskoye shosse 88/4, Moscow) and ApartLux Tushinskaya (Volokolamskoye shosse 1, Moscow).
