Electrosila metro station

Electrosila metro station in St Petersburg (станция метро Электросила) is located in the southern part of the city, near the Moscovsky Prospekt street, near the intersection of Moskovsky Prospect and Blagodatnaya street. The station is located at a distance of about 6.7 kilometers to south of the Palace Square. Electrosila Metro Station is located on the Moskovsko-Petrogradskay St. Petersburg metro line (Line 2, blue line) between stations "Park Pobedy" and "Moskovskiye Vorota."

The station was opened April 29, 1961. The main building of one of the largest plants in Leningrad "Electrosila" was located near the station. This explains the choice of the station name.

The station ground vestibule is located in a separate building, opposite the intersection of Moskovsky Prospekt and Reshetnikova Street. The station underground hall located at a depth of about 35 meters.
