The pandemic has greatly changed the preferences of travel enthusiasts around the world, and in the United States in particular in 2020. Safety has taken on particular importance. Traveling safely can mean not having contact with a large number of people. This means that: traveling in your home country is safer than traveling to another country, traveling near home is safer than going to another region, traveling in a sparsely populated place is safer than being in a big city. Tourists also often prefer to travel by car and stay in small hotels and holiday homes. (Attendance at mass events is not recommended.)
National Parks and remote corners become the this year choice of many tourists in the United States. You have the opportunity to maintain a safe distance from other people while in nature (in a national park or on a secluded beach). Take the opportunity to visit places that you may not have seen yet.
For example only:
- The Grand Canyon is one of the most famous natural landmarks in the world. Most tourists visit the southern part of the Grand Canyon. This is the most visited place in the Grand Canyon National Park.
- Yellowstone National Park is the first national park in the world. The closest regional airports to the national park are Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (Montana), Jackson Hole Airport, Yellowstone Airport (in West Yellowstone, Montana), Yellowstone Regional Airport (Cody, Wyoming).
Look at the map.
Despite the increase in visitors, there are fewer tourists this year than in previous years. At the same time, visitors have more chances to observe the life of wild animals. (Be careful, animals can be aggressive. Bears, bison, elks and even smaller animals.)
We hope that everyone's favorite beach vacation will soon be popular and safe again. Maybe it's time to look for a hotel for your winter vacation in Miami Beach.
