What's the best way to travel between Miami and Orlando? The most convenient mode of transport for many travelers is (in our opinion) the high-speed intercity Brightline rail service (BLFX). Brightline trains will begin running between South Florida and Orlando International Airport September 22, 2023.
Trains reaches speeds of up to 125 mph (201 km/h). Travel between Miami and Orlando is approximately just over 3.5 hours (The distance between Miami and Orlando is approximately 230 miles.)
(For comparison, a direct flight lasts about one hour, but many travelers find the train to be more convenient and reliable.)
You can buy train tickets at Brightline stations, on the company's website and through its app.
MiamiCentral train station is located in Downtown Miami. The station provides access to Brightline inter-city rail service. The station is located within walking distance of the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. Metromover station and the Historic Overtown/Lyric Theatre Metrorail station. The distance from Miami International Airport to the MiamiCentral station is approximately 6 miles.

Brightline Orlando Station ( also known as Orlando International Airport Intermodal Terminal) is connected to the main airport terminal roughly 1 mile (1.6 km) to the north via an automated people mover (APM) system.
The distance from the station to the center of Orlando is approximately 10 miles, to the Walt Disney World Resort - 17 miles.
You can get to downtown Orlando by (for example) taking a local bus.
