Electrozavodskaya metro station in Moscow (Станция метро Электрозаводская) is located at a distance approximately 6.2 kilometers to northeast of the city center (Kremlin and Red Square), next to the Bolshaya Semenovskaya street.
"Electrozavodskaya" station located on Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line of the Moscow metro (line 3, blue line) between stations "Baumanskaya" and "Semenovskaya".
The station was opened on 15 May 1944. Near the station is located "Moscow Kuibyshev Electric Machinery Plant". This has influenced the choice of the station name. The station hall is interesting example of design in the USSR in the mid-20th century. The station is a monument of cultural heritage of Russia.
The station has a ground entrance hall, located next to the house №20 on the Bolshaya Semenovskaya street. The station central hall is located at a depth about 31 meters below the ground surface.
It is planned to construct transition from the Electrozavodskaya station to trains of Third interchange circuit (under construction).
