Metro station “Mezhdunarodnaya” (Russian: Международная) in Saint Petersburg is located in the southern part of the city, at the intersection of “Bucharestskaya” and “Bely Kuna” streets. The metro station “Mezhdunarodnaya” is located on Frunzensko-Primorskaya subway line (line 5, purple line). Currently it is the terminus of “Frunzensko-primorskaya” subway line. To north is located “Bukharestskaya” metro station.
Metro station “Mezhdunarodnaya” was commissioned December 28, 2012. In this area of the city are a lot of streets named after cities of Europe (Bucharestskaya street, Budapestskaya Street, Sofiyskaya street, Turku street). This explains the choice of the station name.
