Probably all students are waiting for the start of Spring Break. We are excited about Spring Break just like you. It is one week when you can take a break from studying at the university, let go of worries, enjoy the freedom and get the opportunity to do what brings you pleasure. What are you planning to do on vacation?
We, as a travel website team, would suggest, for example:
- Spend time on the shores of the warm sea, on the beach, go in for water sports.
- Travel to a ski resort, go snowboarding or downhill skiing, or just spend a relaxing vacation in nature.
- Or visit cities that you have long wanted to visit, see the sights, visit museums and theaters.
If you don't like to travel, then you might enjoy spending time at home with your family and old friends.
Expert opinions and advice
This year, spring break should be prepared in advance. We have accumulated a large unsatisfied demand for travel. We can finally travel wherever we want, with almost no restrictions. There can be a lot of people wishing to go on a trip this spring (and summer). Book early while you still have a choice: tours, flights, cruises, accommodation.
Popular destinations for spring break 2023:
- Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Miami Beach, Florida.
- Orlando, Florida.
- California (Sacramento, San Diego ....).
- New York.
- Hawaii.
- Cancun, Mexico.
Most likely, many Americans will prefer short trips - trips to a region that can be reached in one day, preferably in their own car, rather than by plane.
Perhaps you are ready for a long journey? Maybe it's time to visit Europe? March is a good time to travel to Italy. (Rome, Florence, Venice, Naples!)
The favorable exchange rate of the dollar, combined with the easing of COVID restrictions, could lead to a surge in interest among American tourists to travel to Europe and Asia. 2023 could be the year for long-distance travel.
And one more tip: if you have the opportunity to choose the time for your vacation, you should avoid this time. Choose a different time than the spring break period (late February to early April).
Where to travel for Spring Break? Two factors influence your choice.
- Your location.
It is not necessary to go far to have a good time. Look for places near you so that you don't waste money and time on long trips.
For example, on the west coast, this could be the ski resorts of Colorado or the west coast of Mexico.
If you live on the east coast, then why not head to the beaches of Florida!
- What do you like to do?
For lovers of a beach holiday, Cancun (Mexico), the Dominican Republic, Jamaica are suitable.
Urban tourism can be very interesting: New York, London, Paris, Rome. (I was in Paris in March, and the weather was not the most pleasant. But in Rome, it was the other way around. It was beautiful spring weather. (But these are already long and expensive trips and can be too expensive.)
When is Spring Break in 2023? You need to check with your university/college. The spread of the coronavirus is forcing many universities to change the timing and length of spring break to reclaim school days lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But the peak periods of holidays and travel will fall on the period from March 10 to 26 in 2023. (Airport congestion may occur and popular resorts may be overbooked. Book early.)
Spring Break is more often associated with trips to places with a warm climate, such as Miami Beach, Daytona Beach, Panama City Beach, Cancun (Mexico), Punta Cana (Dominican Republic). It is unlikely that you need to come up with something special for yourself.
