The Marine Station or Marine Terminal is a marine passenger terminal in the port of Sochi, Russia. It is listed as an object of cultural heritage of Russia of federal significance.
The Marine Station is located in the very center of Sochi, next to the promenade.
This is a popular place among tourists in Sochi. There are several restaurants nearby. You can take a walk by the sea or rent a yacht for a short sea trip.
On the territory of Greater Sochi (in Russia) there are many good places for lovers of hiking in nature. This hiking nature trail is located in a mountainous area, near the mountain village of Krasnaya Polyana. (Krasnaya Polyana is famous for its ski resorts in Sochi.)
The beaches, of course, cannot be called really good in Sochi. Especially in the center of Sochi. The beaches are pebbly, "decorated" with ugly breakwaters, but vacationers have to be content with what they have.
Along the coast (near the beaches) there is a good promenade (pedestrian zone). As elsewhere in such places, there are many restaurants and cafes, including those with terraces. You can sit, eat, drink coffee, wine or beer and look at the sea. Or just take a walk (if the weather is good).
The embankment is the most visited place in Sochi (in our opinion). Even if you do not go to the beach, you will definitely come for a walk along the promenade. View of the sea, yachts, cafes and restaurants, beautifully dressed people - all this creates a good, "holiday" mood.

Sochi Olympic Park is located on the territory of Alerovsky district, in Imeretinsky Valley, on the coast of the Black Sea.
The Imereti Lowland is located southeast of the center of the city of Adler, between the Mzymta and Psou rivers. (There is Abkhazia Beyond the Psou River.) The length of this section of the coast is approximately 7 kilometers.
Now it is a popular place for summer holidays in Adler. But, this area was little known to tourists before the 2014 Olympics. For the Olympic Games, the Olympic Park with stadiums and many hotels was built here.
Adler railway station. Long-distance trains arrive at the railway station from Moscow, St. Petersburg and many other Russian cities.
