You can now travel by ferry between Greece and Cyprus
Maritime passenger traffic has resumed between Greece and Cyprus. Ferry traffic was interrupted 21 years ago. Passenger ferry Daleela of Scandro Holding began operating between Piraeus Port in Greece and Limassol (Cyprus) on June 19, 2022.
The journey from Limassol to the port of Piraeus takes 30 hours by ferry. The ferry will only run in the summer for now. This season, flights are scheduled until September 16: four flights in June, eight in July, seven in August and three in September.
The port of Piraeus is located near the city of Athens.
