Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception

Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Virgin Mary is one of the two existing Catholic churches in Moscow (2016) and the largest in Russia. Built in neo-Gothic style beautiful building attracts attention of tourists. The main liturgical language for Masses is Russian, but services are also held in Polish, English, French, Spanish, Korean, Latin and Armenian. There are held the charity concerts of organ and sacred music.

Church in Nikitniki

Trinity Church in Nikitniki located in the city center, approximately 650 meters from Red Square. The church has a scenic view, but not very often visited by tourists.

Church of the Holy Trinity in Nikitniki was built in the mid-17th century, presumably in 1628-1651 years. The church was model for construction of some other temples. The picturesque building is a example of Russian architecture of the XVII century.

Spassky Cathedral of of the Andronikov Monastery is one of the oldest buildings on the territory of Moscow, a monument of architecture of the XV century. The church is located on the territory of the monastery, at a distance of approximately 3 kilometers from Red Square and the Kremlin kilometers to the east.

Kazan Cathedral in Moscow

Moscow Kazan cathedral Cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan in Moscow is located in the heart of the city, on the Red Square. The church is located in the northern part of the square next to the Historical Museum, in front of the Mint, at the corner of Red Square and Nikolskaya street.

The church was built in 1636 on the site of an earlier wooden church. Church many times I completed and rebuilt.

In 1936 the church was demolished, like many other churches in the USSR.

Moscow Cathedral Mosque

Moscow Cathedral Mosque is the main mosque in Moscow. The mosque is located in the northern part of the city, approximately 2.8 kilometers north of the Kremlin and Red Square. The mosque is located just off Durov, between the Olympic prospectus and the Prospectus of the World, next to the Olympic sports complex.

The first building of the mosque was built in 1904. The old building was demolished, and the new was built in its place. The opening of the mosque took place on September 23, 2015.

Peter the Great Statue

Peter I Monument made by Zurab Tsereteli is one of the most famous monuments in Moscow. The official name of the monument is "In commemoration of the 300th anniversary of the Russian fleet". The monument was made in 1997 by order of the Moscow Government.

Peter the Great Monument in Moscow is one of the highest monuments in Russia. The total height of the monument is 98 meters. The monument was opened on September 5, 1997.

Moscow Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in Europe. This is the fourth in Russia Zoo by area. The zoo is one of the most visited places in Moscow. More than 3.5 million people visit the zoo each year. (It ia included in the top ten most visited zoos in the world.) The zoo was founded in 1864. The zoo's collection consists of over 1,100 species of animals.

Park of arts "Muzeon"

Park of Arts Muzeon (formerly called the Park of the Fallen Heroes) has become one of the most popular attractions of Moscow in recent years. Park is known not only as a place for walking, but also as an open-air museum of sculpture. Also, various events, concerts are held regularly in the park. More than seven hundred items are exposed now in the park (about two hundred museum objects are stored in the vaults). Krimskaya promenade is a pedestrian zone, one of the best places for walking in Moscow.
