Tourists from European countries are already arriving in Greece

Most blue flags are in Valencia (150), Catalonia (120) and Galicia (107).

The patio festival started in Cordoba on May 6 (Spain). The festival will last until May 19. Tourists can visit private courtyards, which are usually closed to outsiders. Courtyards will be open to the public from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 22:00.

41 people died in a plane crash at Sheremetyevo airport
41 people died in a plane crash at Sheremetyevo airport on May 5, 2019 in Russia. This is 40 passengers and one flight attendant. 37 people survived. Six people were hospitalized, three of them are in serious condition.
The Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft flew from Moscow to Murmansk. After 28 minutes of flight, the crew decided to urgently return to the airport. During a hard landing, the landing gear broke down and the engines caught fire. Then the fire spread to the entire tail of the aircraft. Perhaps the plane was struck by lightning after takeoff. The firemen were able to extinguish the flames in a few minutes.
The pilots did not try to develop fuel before landing and the aircraft boarded with full tanks. All details will be known after the end of the investigation.
Granite quarry as a landmark in Finland
The granite quarry is planned to be promoted as a tourist attraction in Finland. The quarry is famous for the fact that granite was mined there for the construction of St. Isaac's Cathedral in St. Petersburg. In particular, in this quarry, blanks were made for the columns of the cathedral and for the Alexander Column, which is installed on Palace Square.
The granite quarry is located near the border with Russia, in the Virolahti municipality of Kymenlaakso province. More precisely - Cape Heponiemi, near the Pyterlahti.
The quarry, in which granite was mined for famous monuments of St. Petersburg, is located near the Petersburg-Helsinki highway, immediately after the Torfyanovka/Nujamaa checkpoint. Drive here will be easy.
It is not yet clear whether the quarry will be popular with tourists. For the convenience of tourists plan to build walkways, bridges and places for recreation.

Summer season opening in Sochi
The 2019 summer season opening festival will be held in Sochi on May 25th. The holiday season will be opened by a traditional carnival. The year 2019 is named "The Year of Theater" in Russia. Therefore, the theme of the carnival will be theater. The main slogan of the event: "Take the sun with you." The event is scheduled to start at 19:00.
The carnival procession will consist of several columns that will pass along Kurortny Prospect from the circus building to the Winter Theater. Festival will continue on Theater Square. Many events will also take place in other places, for example, in the Cherry Orchard, on Flag Square and on Navaginskaya Street.
